we're so rich. thank you, God.

It's freezing outside, but there's a bubbling pot of asparagus soup, (with bacon and onions - mmmm...) on the stove, the fireplace is doing its awesome thing, lamps are creating warm pools of light all over the house. And Christmas is right around the corner.

A can of cream of asparagus soup, a can of cream of chicken soup, water, milk, (or cream if you want a richer soup,) then sauteed onions and already-cooked bacon dumped in. It's ridiculously simple. But delicious.

.... and it's a raining 62 degrees here! Now that's cold for sub-tropics....AND today is our Christmas parade! ... reminds me why they say - "don't mean to rain on your parade". Hahaha....if I fly out, may I have some soup? :)

We will definitely fix you some soup, Tacy, if you fly out. It won't be out of a can, though!

I've always wondered what it felt like to winter in Florida... kinda warm, huh?
